Seeking a creative Logistic Coordinator to oversee the shipping and receiving of all products. You will create, prepare and process purchase orders, work with vendors, and use technology to stay ahead of the game. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will be responsible for meeting established timelines and suppliers’ requirements. You should be highly organized, perceptive and comfortable working with new technologies. The goal is to ensure that all items are delivered to their destination on time and in perfect condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare domestic shipment bookings or appointments
- Communicate with couriers, freight-forwarders, or customers the necessary bookings, or appointments
- Perform dispatching functions to arrange for freight movement
- Prepare or obtain international inbound/outbound necessary shipment documentation
- Obtain multiple quotes for freight costs and make a proposal to management
- Setup and maintain a dangerous goods field in the ERP item database
- Setup and maintain a harmonization code field in the ERP item database
- Review freight invoices, approve to challenge, then allocate payment responsibility
- Review freight cost contracts and negotiate with partners
- Submit and track freight loss/damage disputes with couriers
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains HS Code, Duty rate in ERP
- Investigate customer delivery refusals and participate in root cause analysis and process improvements
- Log, and Investigate customer qty discrepancies and participate in root cause analysis and process improvements
- Prepare and file lost or damaged fright claims with couriers

**Skills and Abilities**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Experience in freight and load planning
- High energy and highly-motivated individual with strong customer focus
- Strong knowledge of Canadian geography
- Strong Experience in ERP and WMS material planning, movement, and control **Qualifications**:

- College degree/Technical Certification preferred in business, logistics supply chain, transportation, or related program
- One (1) year or more related warehouse, dispatch, customer service or administrative experience required
- One (1) year or more Logistics, Customs and/or Supply Chain Management program or relevant experience required
- One (1) year or more experience in multi-warehouse operation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
