**Position Title**: Agent Relations Coordinator

**Location**: 300 - 2920 Virtual Way, Vancouver, BC

**Compensation**: $60,000/year with benefits after four (4) months

**Position type**:Permanent, full-time.

**Schedule**: 8:30am-4:00pm. Monday-Friday.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Maintain ongoing organization of our international student recruitment agencies contact database.
- Serve as point of contact for all agency-related questions.
- Monitor existing agencies for compliance.
- Create new documents to train and engage with current and new agencies.
- Engage with and develop relationships with prospective and approved local and overseas agencies and partners.
- Provide ongoing communication, training and support to all prospective and approved agencies.
- Promote the college through development of new connections and outreach with external partners such as new local agencies, local secondary schools, post-secondary institutions, and other institutions to facilitate new partnerships and agreements.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments including but not limited to Accounting, Student Services, Registrar’s Office, Marketing and Human Resources.
- Contribute to teambuilding initiatives, supporting a positive workplace culture within the department.
- Stay current on immigration policy and news impacting prospective international students.
- Attend events such as Award Ceremonies, Convocations, Business Fairs, Networking Events, etc.
- Acting consistently in a manner that aligns with Coquitlam College’s mission, values, and goals.
- Other coordinator-related duties as identified by the incumbent or management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience in post-secondary admissions, marketing and/or recruitment as it relates to international education.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- A solid working knowledge of the BC and Canadian education systems, including admission requirements, programs offered at Coquitlam College, and graduation requirements.
- Experience working with international agents and/or student recruiters.
- Familiarity working with Access and other related CRM system would be an asset.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to keep up to date with current and emerging immigration legislation, interpretations and best practices within the field of immigration as it relates to students.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, including cross-cultural communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- A demonstrated ability to develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and work as part of a team.
- A demonstrated ability to work independently towards deadlines on specific projects.
