**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Level 2 Technician Coordinator, within our IT Shared Services team, the main objective of this position is to resolve support tickets escalated by EPOS Level 1 technicians. The Level 2 technician will perform more in-depth analyses that will identify the source of a problem, participate in knowledge development and offer active support to the various IT projects. The EPOS Level 2 technician interacts daily with customers, all levels of help desk staff, third-party suppliers, as well as employees and management of the various Couche-Tard/Circle K departments.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better:  
- Receive and resolve support tickets submitted by stores.
- Provide assistance and coaching to EPOS Level 1 technicians.
- Provide timely support to in-store subcontracting technicians.
- Analyze and attempt to resolve issues without going through another instance.
- Update the problem ticket corresponding to the case being handled and either escalate it to a higher level, resolve the tasks/incidents within the targeted SLA and update the resolution information, or escalate the ticket to the next level of technicians.
- Perform root cause analysis using detailed analysis of reported and persistent issues, and work closely with Retail Systems to proactively eliminate issues before they occur.
- Work with people in retail systems and other departments, as directed, to support related projects and activities.
- Work with the training manager to identify, create and test new knowledge resources with the aim of improving resolution at the first call at the EPOS support level.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

We want you to join our team Here’s what we’re looking for:

- High school diploma required, DEC or technical training in business computer systems.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a help desk or computer-related field.
- In-depth knowledge of help desk functions, processes and procedures and service quality measurement.
- Excellent skills in modeling and documenting process flows.
- Knowledge of issue tracking and other help desk tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication, time organization and management, customer service and interpersonal relationships, and customer orientation.
- This post requires regular communication with EPOS Level 1 technicians, subcontracting technicians, network technicians, NOC, project managers as well as employees in all departments with links to the stores' IT systems.
- Availability to be on call evenings and weekends one week per month (with monetary compensation), in order to respond to escalations from Level 1 technicians (once well trained by the L2s already in place).
- Bilingual - French and English - written and spoken.
