**Account Payable Technician**

**Department**:Accounting

**Location**:Laval, Quebec

**Type**:Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 h

**Hybrid mode**: 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, within the Shared Accounting Services team, the Accounts Payable Technician supports the Accounts Payable team in the processing of invoices and the issuance of payments.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Here are some ways to improve travel:

- Entering invoices into the computer system;
- Verification and transfer of invoices to the invoice approval and processing system;
- Check invoice approvals and ensure everything is in accordance with our procedures and controls;
- Issue payment lists;
- Create accounting entries;
- Respond to requests from various internal managers and suppliers;
- Any other related tasks.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

We want you to join our team Here's what we're looking for:
**Education**:

- AEC or DEC in accounting;
**Experiment**:

- 1 year of relevant accounting experience;
**Knowledge and skills**:

- Demonstrate a high confidentiality in the handling of files;
- Meet tight deadlines;
- Be thorough while having a good speed of execution;
- Demonstrate a strong concern for customer service;
- Able to work alone or in a group;
- Master the Office suite.

**Language skills**:

- English writes and spoken.
