**The salary range for this position is**:
**Recruitment range: $70,137- $77,330 **starting salary determined by the PEA Collective Agreement.

**Performance range: starting salary to max of $91,214** is available through annual performance increases.

- Job Summary**Mandate**:
The Manager, CAL Exam Centre, is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating practices, standards, services, or projects related to the operation of the CAL Exam Centre, including the coordination of accommodated exam programming with academic units and related stakeholders.

**Objectives**:

- Develop systems that impact everyday administrative demands and long-term direction/operational goals of the CAL Exam Centre.
- Regular duties and responsibilities include program development, managing financial functions, human resources, providing advice and direction on accommodated exams procedure,
- Guide UVic faculty and staff on complex topics such as the intersection of accommodated exams programming, departmental/institutional policy, and universal design.
- Facilitate and promote accessible programming and approaches across the University community through effective communication, negotiation, and consensus-building tools.
- Employ professional communication strategies with stakeholders who are adversarial or present communication challenges.

There may be times where working hours extend to evenings/weekends to meet service plan goals at periods of peak demand, or to participate in employee training and external events.
- Job RequirementsThis position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
