**As **a** **Lead operations specialist**, you will **be responsible for**:

- Under general direction, develop and maintain customer relationships
- Assist the conventional oil sales groups to ensure the needs and requirements of all customers
- Responding to inquiries from field personnel and provide expert advice and assistance on the development of demulsifiers and water clarifiers for the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Communicate Baker Hughes technical programs to our customers Production Optimization Groups, Production/Technical Managers and Operations personnel in Calgary and major field offices
- Manage and facilitate research projects to enhance Baker Hughes strategic position in various Oil and Gas market segments

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or technical diploma with 3 years of relevant experience
- 3+ year’s demulsifier/water clarifier product selection experience.
- Experience formulating new products preferred.
- Technical knowledge of all aspects relating to oil and gas production including downhole, pipelines and facilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet/Intranet
- Proven ability to lead and influence others that are not direct reports

- Problem solver with the ability to effectively communicate solution
- Ability to travel as much as 30% of the time
- Understanding of oil and gas production and transportation
- Project management experience and the ability to sell solutions to both internal and external stake holders
