Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our Lloydminster, Canada-based team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Carefully review technical drawings and blueprints to identify project requirements and specifications.
  • Welding Operations: Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc) to fabricate and repair metal components.
  • Inspect Finished Work: Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintenance and Tooling: Regularly inspect and maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members to achieve project goals and ensure effective communication throughout the process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education and Certification: Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship, along with certification in welding techniques (AWS, CWB).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and quality control skills to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
