**What are we looking for?**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Robotics/Coding Competition Coach to guide and mentor students participating in various robotics competitions, including FIRST Lego League (FLL), World Robot Olympiad (WRO), and VEX Robotics. As a coach, you will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment, teaching coding and robotics concepts, and preparing students for competition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to students participating in robotics competitions, helping them develop their skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.
- Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the specific competition (FLL, WRO, VEX) and the age group of the participants.
- Technical Training: Teach coding languages (such as Scratch, Python, C++, or Java) and robotics concepts, including mechanical design, electronics, programming, and sensor integration.
- Competition Preparation: Develop strategies, practice sessions, and drills to prepare students for the challenges they will face during the competitions. Provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Team Building: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication among team members.
- Resource Management: Manage and maintain robotics kits, tools, and equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and availability for practices and competitions.
- Safety and Ethics: Promote a safe and ethical approach to robotics, emphasizing proper use of tools and equipment, responsible behavior, and respect for competition rules.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on team progress, competition schedules, and any other relevant information. Encourage involvement and support from parents and engage with the local robotics community.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and rule changes in robotics competitions, attending workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance your own knowledge and skills.

**Requirements**:
Qualifications:

- Education : College or University graduate or pursing graduation in computer science or any relevant major
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in coaching or mentoring students in robotics competitions, specifically FLL, WRO, and/or VEX Robotics.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in coding languages (such as Scratch, Python, C++, or Java) and experience with robotics platforms, sensors, and programming software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to build a positive team dynamic and lead students effectively. Ability to collaborate with other coaches, mentors, and volunteers.
- Problem-solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to help students overcome challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Time Management: Effective organizational skills to manage practice sessions, competition schedules, and other coaching responsibilities.
- Passion for Education: Enthusiasm for STEM education and a genuine interest in inspiring and motivating students in the field of robotics and coding.

Timing:

- **-Weekdays 5 pm to 8pm and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm**_
