Administrative Specialist

We are currently seeking a **full-time, permanent** Administrative Specialist for our Calgary location. Our hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The starting wage range is $26.00 to $29.00 per hour, along with a group benefit package after three months. The starting wage offered will depend upon your experience and relevant education.
Your Duties:
Starting and invoicing customer jobs.
Using publisher to generate quotes and reports.
Entering customer related data into both Excel and Google Drive spreadsheets
Processing credit card transactions and petty cash
Answering telephone and forwarding call appropriately
Other office related duties, including, but not limited to: proofreading, filing, etc.
Alamo will provide you with full training in our policies and procedures; however, you will have experience doing similar work. Your knowledge of MS Word and Excel will be an advanced level. Knowledge of Publisher and QuickBooks is an asset. A confident and pleasant telephone manner along with excellent verbal and written communication skills are key.
You will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, superior organizational skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Your previous employers will confirm that you are able to prioritize work, work well under pressure and work well within a team setting.
