Medical Office Assistant Job Description

**Position Overview**:
This role is for an individual that has a love for aesthetics and is working towards building an aesthetics career. The person in this role will possess high energy, be resourceful and forward thinking, and excellent communication skills. This position requires an individual that has a pulse on all things happening within the clinic, and anticipates the needs of both the client and the team of medical practitioners. As the first face or voice a client experiences when they “Experience Quartz”, this person goes above and beyond to make clients feel unique, special, and pampered. The individual in this position must represent the Quartz Mind, Body, and Skin Clinic brand and values at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Medical office assistant certification
- 2 years experience in Medical Aesthetics field
- Experience with scheduling, purchases, payment systems
- Experience with cosmetic injections a bonus

**Essential Duties**:

- Schedule and confirm appointments through Jane
- Oversee the Quartz Jane program to ensure accuracy
- Support the team of Naturopathic Doctors
- Display exceptional customer service to all clients, patients, and visitors to the clinic
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and record
- Manage medical inventory
- Provide full clerical services as required to proficiently complete the day to day activities
- Provide excellent skin consultations and market/promote our services to our clients
- Sell proprietary skin care products and treatments
- Maintain overall clinic tidiness
- Support and assist all roles and duties within the clinic as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
