**About the role**:
At OSL we are excited to partner with a
**Global Leader in Vaping** and are looking to recruit an
**Assistant Store Manager in Downtown Calgary.** As the Assistant Store Manager, you are the key to our success You are an inspiring leader who knows how to build, mentor, and grow a successful, highly motivated team of fantastic sales associates. You are passionate, driven, and excited about working for one of the world’s most popular vape brands. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will make sure your store is running efficiently and expertly. You will have an opportunity to build a great team, while managing operations and maximizing profitability.

**A little more about the role**:

- Build, manage and grow a team of winning sales associates
- This role requires a work hard, play hard attitude: “win at all costs (well almost), and have fun while you’re doing it”
- Manage all aspects of store operations
- Grow sales month over month
- Manage inventory to ensure proper resupply of goods
- Establish clear, challenging, achievable goals for the store and sales team
- Strong understanding of retail store operations, merchandising and customer service

**What you bring**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in retail management
- The knowledge that when your team is successful, you are successful - your leadership style should reflect this
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional service, identify and satisfy customer needs, and manage the operational success
- Solid track record of managing budgets, forecasting sales, merchandising, and retail metrics
- Experience with recruitment, coaching, and leading a team of successful salespeople
- Detail-oriented, results-focused, problem solver with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work, days, evenings, and weekends
