Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced retail environment and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters. Additionally, you will be expected to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.

This is a permanent position offering 30 to 40 hours per week with a salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
  • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Authorize return of merchandise
  • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Basic security clearance
