**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items that align with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring proper handling and presentation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests about dessert options and accommodating special requests when possible.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both preparation and presentation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
