Peninsula Ridge Estate Winery is looking to hire a person that qualifies under the Federal/Provincial Summer Jobs Program. (qualification guidelines are as follows:
To be eligible, youth must:

- be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment*
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment**; and,
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Job responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
Motivated individual who goes out of their way to provide amazing customer service

Educating customers and guests on wines & the winery’s operations

Opening and closing duties - ensuring the Retail Shop is well stocked as well as keeping it clean & tidy

Completing sales transactions with a POS system

Occasional assistance with retail events (very limited)

Must be available for at least 3-5 shifts a week

**Requirements**:
**Smart Serve certified

Outgoing personality and strong communication skills

Ability to work well within a team environment

Detail oriented and ability to efficiently multitask

Must be able to work weekends

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Wine industry experience is an asset but not mandatory

Second language is also an asset

Must be able to lift 20kg

Our Retail Store Hours: Monday - Sunday 10am - 6pm

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
