Arctic Chiller is currently seeking a friendly, professional, and organized receptionist - order desk representative.
In this role you will often be the first point of contact for our company and offer ongoing customer service to existing clientele.
To be successful in this role, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. You will be the point of reference for most queries, requests or issues and will be an integral part of the company’s workforce.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome walk-in customers
- Assist with coordinating pick-up orders
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Process courier shipments (incoming and outgoing)
- Provide updates on order progress for customers by coordinating with various departments of Arctic Chiller
- Assist with various office support as necessary
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Order Desk Representative, or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite _(Word and Excel in particular)_
- Hands-on experience with office equipment _(ie: Fax machine, telephone, printers, computer)_
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Great phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Self-motivated with an ability to keep a level head in a fast
- paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
*Experience with Simply Accounting and Sales Force _(or other CRM systems)_ an added asset
