**Join SADA as a People Operations Manager**

**Your Mission**

As a **People Operations Manager** at SADA, you will take ownership of the day-to-day activities of the department and focus on the SADAian experience by providing exceptional customer service in all initiatives. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that will balance individual needs with SADA's goals, principles, and core values. This person will be involved in relationship building and rolling out all People Operations (PO) programs/initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
Employee Relations
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns/complaints as needed. Represent the organization at personnel-related investigations; resolve labor disputes and grievances.
- Advise managers of protocol for all employee relation issues, including disciplinary action, investigations, and terminations.

Employee Benefits and Leave:

- Manage, administer, and process all US employee benefits programs.
- Answer employee benefits and leave questions.
- Take an active role with Open Enrollment, 401(k) and FSA non-discrimination testing, and 401(k) true-up events.
- Own leave administration and tracking for the US (parental leave, medical leave, workers' comp, FMLA, disability, etc.)
- Review, evaluate, and propose new employee benefit programs that are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.

Performance Management
- Ensure 90-day reviews, annual reviews, and employee goals are entered and completed within established timelines

Compliance
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.

Bonus Compensation
- Ensure all employee bonus plans are accurately entered, tracked, and paid on time.

**Onboarding/Training**

The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

**Job Requirements**

Required Credentials:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification (highly preferred)

Required Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager
- Experience with a multi-state and/or multinational organization with 500+ employees
- Experience scaling a company in a hyper-growth environment
- Experience with and understanding of California laws and regulations (PFL, CFRA, Cal/OSHA, etc.)
- Proficiency with employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA's, and 401(k)
- Experience with improving processes and advising leaders
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting continuous deadlines
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under short deadlines.
- Positive and professional demeanor, able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality with all levels of employees and leadership.
- Proficiency with reporting, analyzing and compiling data, and generating action items from data.
- General proficiency with systems, software, and technology.

Useful Qualifications:

- Experience with Google Workspace (Formerly known as G Suite)
- Experience with Project Management
