People Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative People Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to support the development of our People Operations (Shared Services) function that caters to both field and corporate employees. Your primary goal will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality People services and support to internal customers while maintaining compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

- People Operations & Support: Support the establishment and maintenance of the People Operations function through the development of standardized and scalable People Processes that can be uniformly implemented across all sites nationally, fostering an exceptional employee experience. Utilize creative and outside-the-box thinking to develop innovative solutions that span the employee life cycle and may include processes within onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, leave administration, etc.
- People Support: Provide exceptional People support to the business, addressing employee inquiries and providing guidance on People policies and procedures.
- People Programs: Ownership and project management of specific People programs, ensuring their successful development, implementation and ongoing management.
- Systems/Tools: Become an expert in our People systems, including HCM (Workday) and time and attendance (Quinyx). Leverage your expertise to optimize system usage, ensure data hygiene, security and drive process improvements. Utilize Excel Macros to automate and streamline People-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Act as a project manager on any new system or module implementations, including associated change management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build buy-in and obtain stakeholder support by effectively communicating the value and benefits of proposed process improvements and initiatives.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure People processes align with legal guidelines and minimize organizational risk.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop robust dashboards and reports and utilize data analytics to gather insights and make data-driven recommendations for continuous process improvement.
- Change Management: Support change management initiatives related to People processes, guiding stakeholders through the implementation of new processes or systems.

**Sound a-peeling? Here's what we're looking for**
- 2+ years combined relevant educational and professional experiences in Human Resources.
- HR Operations Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems/technologies, policies, and procedures with experience in process improvement and optimization that support solutions to complex problems.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using HCM systems (preferably Workday) and time and attendance systems (preferably Quinyx).
- Experience with Excel Macros and the ability to leverage automation to improve efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions to address People-related challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
