MENTAL HEALTH OUTREACH SUPPORTED ( TOP PROGRAM)
JOB TITLES Worker and Outreach Worker provide care to clients in a manner that will respect the individual(s) & maintain their dignity.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Typical Education, Training, and Experience *
- BC DRIVERS LICENSE CLASS 5
- USE OF PERSONAL VEHICLE
- Uninsured Motorist Protection Coverage and third-party liability coverage.
- Current First Aid
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification
I. mmunization Record for TB test, Hepatitis B and Influenza Vaccination,
- Recent, related experience of one year or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is an asset.
- Other Qualifications reasonable and relevant to the level of work will also be taken into consideration.

- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
- Ability to organize and prioritize.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
- Ability to observe and recognize changes in clients.
- Ability to teach, assist, and support clients as needed.
- Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation principles is an asset.
- WAGE RATE: UNION RATE: Start $27.92-$29.60/HR
- UNION: BCGEU
WAGE RATE: In accordance with Union hourly rate schedule with additional 10% on all earnings in lieu of vacation pay,
Probationary Period applies.
PAID MILEAGE RATE: as per Union mileage rate.
Facilities are licensed under Vancouver Coastal Health and governed by Community Care and Assisted Living Act. All Facilities and Programs adhere to COVID 19 Protocols mandated by BC Health Officer. Available FACILITY WORK HOURS: - **Week-end Shifts **Day Evening Overnights (8 hrs) Mon - Fri Shifts Day Evening and Overnights OUTREACH PROGRAM WORK HOURS Mon - Sun Day and Evening Shifts **Applicants must be willing and available to work the above shifts including week-ends statutory holidays, seasonal vacation periods summer months) and Christmas holiday period.**
