**Role Summary**:
The Transfer Pricing Analyst will work on a variety of assignments, including planning, identifying, and documenting the arm’s length nature of intercompany transactions within Magna’s global divisions, performing functional interviews with company management, industry and company research, transfer pricing planning studies, and financial modeling in support of transfer pricing analyses.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Preparation of both Canadian and US transfer pricing local file studies
- Assist in functional analysis and fact finding interviews
- Assist with global data collections and reconciliations of entity and segmented P&L
- Review and analyze various financial information to ensure reliability, accuracy and usefulness in supporting transfer pricing policies
- Assist with ensuring that the Operating Groups have applied transfer pricing policies correctly
- Assist with responding to queries from Operating Group finance personnel
- Assist with reviewing inter-company agreements
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:
**Knowledge and Education**
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- Strong skills in Microsoft office with high proficiency in Excel.
**Work Experience**
- Minimum of one or more years of transfer pricing experience
**Skills and Competencies**
- Superior analytical / problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to work independently at home office or in Magna office location, with mínimal supervision, as well as in collaboration with a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess good time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to handle and maintain confidential information discretely
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
**Work Environment**
- Standard office environment in conjunction with Magna’s Remote Work Policy, where applicable
