NATURE DU TRAVAIL

Les cuisiniers préparent et font cuire des aliments. Ils peuvent accomplir les mêmes fonctions que les plongeurs. Les aides-cuisiniers font partie de ce groupe de travail.

FONCTIONS PRINCIPALES
- Préparer les aliments pour le service des mets
- Respecter les standards de temps d'exécution
- Maintenir une constance dans la qualité des préparations quant au goût, à l'apparence et au degré de cuisson
- Préparer les différents plats du menu Bâton Rouge
- Respecter les recettes de Bâton Rouge
- Appliquer les règles d'hygiène et de salubrité
- Appliquer les règles de sécurité
- S'assurer de la propreté constante de son poste de travail
- Déballer et ranger les provisions dans les réfrigérateurs, les entrepôts et autres endroits réservés au rangement
- Entreposer les produits et préparations selon la durée de conservation
- Respecter la rotation des stocks

COMPÉTENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS

Quelques années d'études secondaires peuvent être exigées. Une certaine dextérité manuelle et une endurance physique sont requises. La capacité de travailler en équipe et de suivre le rythme de production ainsi que le sens du détail et la compréhension aisée sont exigés.

CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL

L'horaire est variable selon le poste, de jour, de soir ou de fin de semaine. Travail fréquent les fins de semaine et les jours fériés. Travail de nuit occasionnel. Possibilité de temps supplémentaire. Les horaires peuvent avoir des quarts de travail fractionné. Travail intensif aux heures de repas

Salaire : à partir de 19,00$ par heure
