JOB PURPOSE:
As a Maintenance Technician in our manufacturing plant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of machinery and equipment essential for production processes. You will play a pivotal role in the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, guaranteeing their optimal performance and longevity.

DUTIES:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively, minimizing downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems efficiently, employing a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities strategically, coordinating shutdowns or equipment downtime to minimize disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory levels, to facilitate efficient planning and resource management.
- Perform maintenance and repairs of building and facilities at two locations.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to address critical issues that may arise during production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Basic mathematical skills.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to handle heavy loads.
- Must be willing to shovel snow and work outside during the winter.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment an asset.
- Forklift Operator certification an asset.
- Ability to operate all machines relating to the job.

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
