General Labourer

Bella Vista RV Centre (a subsidiary of the Leisure Days RV Group) has an immediate opportunity for a seasonal (with full-time hours) General Labourer / Maintenance / Errand Person at its dealership in Oro-Medonte, Ontario.
- Experience with RVs is an asset, but it is not a necessity. We are willing to train. Familiarity with power tools and machinery (such as a forklift) is an asset. There is room to move into an apprenticeship position. You must have a valid driver's license._

Overview:
In this position you will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, participating in training, assisting co-workers, completing jobs with efficiency, and other tasks as required including general maintenance of the grounds and conducting errands on behalf of the dealership.

Reporting: You will report to the Parts & Service Manager.

Compensation: This is a seasonal position with full-time hours, offering $18 - 20/hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Provide friendly, courteous and efficient customer service.
- Work in a team environment, treating coworkers with respect and courtesy.
- Assist technicians in shop with RV repairs and maintenance.
- Go over RV operations with new customers (training will be provided for this).
- Detail new and used units on sales lot as well as customer units. This includes undercoating, paint and fabric protection.
- Light janitorial duties to keep the facility clean and in good working order.
- Attend company and factory training.
- Understand and follow federal, provincial and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste).
