_**Technical Quotations Specialist - AUTOMOTIVE**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Become a product champion for ODC by developing a thorough understanding of our products and services in order to effectively respond to customer inquiries and create new opportunities
- Help produce concept designs for custom tooling and equipment packages and deliver detailed quotations and targeted sales presentations to current & prospective customers
- Support and backup for automotive sales lead, as required and during absences
- Work effectively with sales, project management, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing staff as required for successful project delivery
- Communicate with customers; technical details and requirements, delivery objectives, quality objectives, etc.
- Identify risks and road blocks to successfully being awarded projects and work with sales team and management to resolve
- Maintain good relations with all customers as the internal ODC contact
- Communicate and maintain good rapport with all staff members
- Additional duties as assigned or required

**Qualifications**:

- General knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes. Tool & die / automation general experience desirable.
- The ability to conceptualize detailed mechanical concepts.
- Excellent customer service, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Excel and PowerPoint) and CAD programs (Catia/SolidWorks preferred).
- Must be willing to learn and use software packages for sales and quotations (Navision, SmarTeam...)
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities and timeframes.

**Requirements**:

- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Tooling/automation exposure.
- An excellent command of the English language as well as written skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel within North America, as required.
- Periodically respond to emergency customer impacting situations after hours.
