Learning Specialist - Renewals Job Details

Our client’s global Renewals teams are responsible for retention and growth of off-cloud and cloud contracts, and their ability to onboard effectively and keep performing at peak levels is critical to the success of the team. Our client is modernizing and streamlining their Renewals Enablement program to ensure the Renewals teams possess the skills, knowledge, and expertise, to shorten ramp up time and increase productivity, no matter their location.

Reporting to the Senior Renewals Enablement Manager, the successful candidate will ensure a learner-centered approach is developed and executed, providing the best-in-class learning experience for the global Renewals organization.

Learning Specialist - Renewals Responsibilities

  • Using a variety of modalities and tools, facilitate, deliver, and track sales training programs that support Renewals onboarding & enablement initiatives
  • Participate in program curriculum design, development, and delivery of the training program (for multiple business units) to improve global renewals organization skills and abilities, considering multi-generational talent and the modern learner.
  • Support implementation of a renewals enablement strategy for onboarding and ongoing development using relevant, impactful, and on-the-job learning experience
  • Collaborate with the broader renewals organization and learning community to develop, update, and revise training resources using innovative techniques to achieve strategic initiatives
  • Support the continuous improvement and engagement of training resources to ensure knowledge gaps are closed, and the desired business results are realized
  • Support workplace performance, coaching, mentoring, and enabling social and collaborative learning experiences

Learning Specialist - Renewals Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Recent experience in a Technology company and 5+ years’ experience in a sales or renewals training role (or comparable training role)
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, development, adult learning theory, and/or technical writing.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and communication skills
  • Genuinely positive and proactive with the ability to establish positive relationships quickly and demonstrates a willingness to help others
  • Demonstrates professionalism, diplomacy, and versatility
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented and a continuous improvement mindset to everyday tasks
  • Self-starter that can work autonomously, yet understands the value and power of a team and can work collaboratively and creatively in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Experience in training design and development across multiple modalities, i.e., eLearning, instructor-led, blended, job aids, and more, and can manage simultaneous projects to established deadlines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of learning principles, industry design standards, and modern learning best practices for the continual development of learners. Certifications in adult learning and/or instructional design - is a plus
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn new skills and development tools
  • Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite
  • Expertise in WordPress
  • Experience using eLearning tools such as Captivate, Articulate 360, Camtasia and SnagIt.
