Clark Builders is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily be responsible for a variety of duties including administration of bi-weekly and multi-provincial payroll. This is a wonderful opportunity for a payroll professional looking for a new challenge.
Reports to: Payroll Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review timesheets in Timetracker to ensure data for processing is accurate and meets all applicable provincial and federal employment standards legislation- Complete full cycle payroll- RRSP and Benefit plan balance and remittance- Complete government requested earnings confirmations- Research and prepare historical data as required- Reconcile Employee A/R accounts as time permits- Perform all other related duties as required
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a team environment- Proven ability to work in a high paced environment and meet deadlines- Above average computer skills- Attention to accuracy, excellent organization skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality- Knowledge of payroll best practices- Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive business and employee information- Ability to build strong working relationships with employees, including the ability to provide excellent customer service- Experience with eCMS, Workday and ROE web an asset- Knowledge of the construction industry
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years HR and/or Payroll experience in a fast-paced environment- Post-Secondary diploma in Accounting or Business Administration considered an asset- Professional certification through National Payroll Institute (PCP) considered an asset- Exposure or understanding of principles of lean thinking- Experience with coaching teams in collaborative planning
