**Department Overview**
- The Personal Banking Delivery Excellence (PBDE) team is focused on supporting our branch banking teams in delivering Legendary experiences with every customer, every time. We are the voice of our branches, with the goal of building better advice capabilities, improving branch effectiveness and enabling better colleague and customer experiences. We do this by ensuring they have the right systems, tools, consistent processes and support to do their jobs building customer confidence and meeting more customer needs. We also work collaboratively with our partners across TD on a variety of projects. Whether it's a new product or service, a process change, or a new campaign, we work with them to think through what we need to do to deliver it seamlessly to our branches.- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications & Events, the role of Manager, Communications supports the delivery and execution of communications and events for Branch Banking.
- The incumbent will leverage their business savvy and exceptional writing skills to develop and manage content for Branch Banking events and provide communications support to Branch Banking.

- Understand key business partners' objectives, direction and ongoing initiatives to build appropriate communication strategies and tactics
- Create high-impact content for Branch Banking that leverage TD's corporate standards and best practices and use a variety of tactics and mediums (written, intranet, video, virtual and face-to-face), ensuring consistent messaging and communication methodology
- Act as the communications lead with project teams, providing strategic counsel and sound communications advice and regularly advising partners of communication strategy status
- Regularly advise key stakeholders and leaders on how communication plans are being implemented and identify opportunities to leverage learnings

- Work with communication colleagues across Branch Banking to identify efficiencies and build these into business-specific content for employee communications
- Contribute to the development of standards for content: look & feel, tone, focus, audience relevance, etc.

**Job Requirements**
- Highly seasoned communications professional requiring substantial knowledge / expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas
- Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends course of action and best practices to improve products, processes or services.
- Ability to produce professional messages that are tailored to audience needs and support the overall success of the TD Wealth PWM business
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofing and presentation skills, with an ability to synthesize and summarize details quickly and leverage the power of words in a variety of media
- Strong attention to detail and ability to convey a tone, voice and style that reflects and reinforces the PWM brand and its leaders
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take on complex initiatives and multi-task, managing multiple timelines, stakeholders and relationships
- Confident in your ability to deliver results within aggressive timelines
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing and ambiguous initiatives or requirements
- Solid knowledge of social media, Connections, SharePoint and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio)
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
