**Job Title**

Manager, Corporate Communications - Technology & Operations

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for technology and the impact it can have on our society? Are you interested in a communications role at a global technology organization with more than 10,000 employees? In this Manager, Corporate Communications role you will support the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies for RBC’s CIO and global Technology & Operations (T&O) team, including content development, employee events and engagement activities, and management of the team’s internal channels. You’ll help to promote RBC priorities within T&O including Diversity and Inclusion. You’ll also work with communicators and business partners across T&O and RBC to help ensure that communications are aligned with T&O’s strategic priorities including digital innovation and talent.

**Job responsibilities**
- Develop and execute internal communications and employee engagement activities including employee events, internal newsletters and articles, podcasts, videos, and leadership/group-wide messages
- Manage intranet and internal digital channels
- Support town halls and other employee events including invitations, agenda, speaker preparation, and other logístical details
- Work with T&O business partners to ensure communications deliver on their objectives and T&O’s overall strategy
- Help to manage media relations activities, social media posts, and external storytelling in key priority areas such digital innovation
- Work with enterprise partners to incorporate enterprise initiatives such as Brand, Purpose, Diversity and Inclusion and other organizational priorities into T&O communications.

**Job requirements**

**Must-have**
- University degree and/or other post-secondary education (or equivalent experience) in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism
- Communications professional with minimum 3+ years of experience
- Exceptional ability to write compelling content and headlines that increase employee engagement
- Strategic thinker with the ability to advise and work across multiple partners and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment

**Nice-to-have**
- Experience in the tech sector and/or financial services sector
- Experience supporting senior executives
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing
