Cubicle Fugitive is looking for a skilled and talented writer and brand strategist that will be as passionate about creating and communicating our client's brands and messaging as we are. You will be an instrumental part of our team and need to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients on various projects, including brand development and positioning strategies, communications plans and editorial calendars, advertising and social media campaigns, website content, and more. We need a self-starter who loves learning about people and what makes companies tick and can effortlessly communicate their stories in w**H**atever medium is required.

We are looking for someone open to learning our process, which includes interviewing key stakeholders, auditing and analyzing current brand messaging and materials, performing competitive audits and providing clear and actionable strategies to meet their goals. You will prepare comprehensive presentations and reports for our clients on brand strategy, positioning, and communications. You will then take carefully crafted plans and convey their stories through new headlines, campaign messaging, accessible and SEO-optimized website content, and brand guidelines.

**What the job entails**:

- As a Brand Strategy and Communications Manage**R**, you will work with leading professional service firms across North America to identify, position, and communicate their brands. You will set the project's strategy and plans by outlining goals and issues, sharing direction and desired outcomes, and helping clients understand their contributions. You will lead our major brand strategy projects, from research and positioning to visualization.
- A significant portion of this role is providing clear, concise, and compelling communications. You will find and develop the brand voice for our clients and Cubicle Fugitive. To achieve this, you will need to be a talented interviewer, a solid researcher, and skilled at amalgamating information into clear and concise messaging. You will also lead internal teams throughout the brand conceptualization and visualization process. You will be looked at to provide creative and effective approaches to address our client's goals, manage deliverables, communicate with clients, prepare status reports, and ensure we deliver excellent quality work to our clients **E**very time.
- You will be called upon to draft communications for marketing materials, websites (bios, services, blogs, etc.), advertising, social channels, PR, etc. You will also work with company ownership to develop Cubicle Fugitive's editorial schedule and work with the team to ensure we produce a constant stream of insightful and valuable content for our clients.
- As the Brand and Communications Manager, you will mentor and coach direct reports, set project goals and work plans, serve as a sounding board for ideas and questions, share successes and best practices, and meet to discuss issues and concerns. You will

**M**entor your teammates to become better communicators. As a manager, you will be called upon to provide constructive feedback, positive reinforcement, and public acknowledgement of successes. You will also assist with estimating and pricing projects and reviewing and approving client project budgets for invoicing.
- You will work collaboratively with our design team to visualize our clients' brands (e.g., logos, print and digital collateral, and advertising) and develop the ?big idea? to launch the new positioning to clients, employees, and recruits. You will work closely with our website strategy, design and development teams to ensure our client's brands are realized in design, development, and copy. When writing digital content, you will pay close attention to the client's business goals, ensuring all online content is written for clients and prospects, all while following SEO best practices.
- As a leader at Cubicle Fugitive, you will be requested to be a brand ambassador of Cubicle Fugitive on social media, at industry events and conferences, and within our company. From time to time, you will be required to travel for client meetings and conferences, and we encourage you to volunteer for industry associations, e.g., Legal Marketing Association. Cubicle Fugitive will cover membership and travel costs.
