Regional Operations Manager

**Core Job Responsibilities**
- The **Regional** **Operations Manager** is responsible for working with the **Owner/CEO, **and reporting to the **Director Of Operations** to ensure consistency in operations.
- This will include training, leading the senior management team, managing assets, and ensuring customers are served according to the Per Se Hospitality Group customer service commitment currently “exceptional service and inspired food & beverage are the hallmarks of every dining experience”.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing staff, ensuring high quality service, and maintain a positive dining experience for all our guests
- Supervise the day-to-day; assign work tasks and activities, improve operational efficiency, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered
- Must be a brand leader for the Per Se Hospitality Group and will have responsibility for executing training, keeping operational manuals updated (including operating policies, procedures and checklists as needed), and to maintain operating and client service expectations in restaurants.
**Strategize for process improvements**
**Assets management** - a structured preventive maintenance program and asset renewal system to eliminate unplanned downtime.
- This will include policies and checklists for each restaurant.
**Control cost** of operations to ensure efficient costs of operations and budget.
**Continuous improvement **regular reviews of operational processes, remove inefficiencies, which includes team member skillset reviews, performance reviews and training plans to grow employee skills and leadership capabilities.
**Implement standardized operating procedures**, including, Dress code, Code of conduct, Write-ups (positive and constructive), Labour tracking, Sales forecasting, Vibe book standard, New menu update/testing for all staff, New hire protocols both FOH and BOH, **Guest incident reports,** Health and safety protocols, Manager development sessions, Operation and Salary managers division of duties, Other aspects for a complete set of operating policies and procedures
**Support all restaurants in brand development**, marketing, staff training and orientation materials, and development and documentation of systems and standards:
- Assess current operations and identify areas for improvement, and assist with implementation of best practices across the Per Se Hospitality Group brand
- Meet regularly with Director of Operations, CEO/Owner and Strategic Advisor to determine how to best socialize, communicate, implement improvements and standardized procedures.
- Work with the Upper Management Team to supplement/improve upon existing HR practices and policies and the related implementation
- Work with other directors to develop sincere relationships with guests, colleagues, and suppliers to create a cooperative and warm atmosphere, and to inspire all staff to work as a team and to provide guests with a positive, professional and excellent personalized experience
**Network with peers** in the region and industry to stay abreast of industry trends and develop innovative service and product ideas
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with corporate sponsors
**Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned by the owner**
- Ensure compliance with all laws, best practices, policies, permits, etc. and keep all up to date
- Review and analyze special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years experience in restaurant management operations, regional or director role in high volume, upper casual fine dining restaurants in BC Canada.
- Multi-tasker that works well in environment with time constraints.
- Must be organized, have integrity, accountable, reliable and have respect for their workplace.
- Superior time management skills and adherence to tight deadlines and last-minute changes
- Strong team building and communication skills, both written and verbal
