The role of the **Advertising Account Executive** is to proactively prospect, qualify and develop new and existing advertising accounts. The expectation will be to grow new business. As an Account Executive you must be comfortable working in an inside sales office environment, proactively fill and manage a sales pipeline, work to strict publication deadlines, and demonstrate a successful sales closing ratio.

**Summary of Essential Job Functions**:
The Advertising Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and developing new and existing advertising accounts. This role involves pitching new business, managing client relationships, educating advertisers on products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing daily cold calls to generate leads
- Creating and updating sales proposals
- Participating in sales meetings and marketing activities
- Attending trade shows and events as required
- Identify market growth opportunities
- Develop, deliver and present marketing options for existing and prospective customers
- Review publications and provide feedback on competitive activity
- Provide daily and weekly CRM reporting
- Perform and assume related duties as assigned
- Self motivated and sales-focused

**Required Skills**:
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and sales-focused individual with the following qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in a relational sales environment
- Confident presentation style
- Proven track record in prospecting leads and developing sales pitches
- Able to approach sales in a consultative manner by creating solutions for the customer
- Strategic thinking with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Responsive and dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
