The Facility Partnership Coordinator understands the overall partnership with Edmonton Public Schools and the Edmonton Catholic School Boards for Dr. Anne Anderson Community Centre and St. Francis Xavier Sports Centre respectively. This position works closely with all internal and external stakeholders, including the school and other partners to manage the facility details that create a ready and welcoming environment where recreation and leisure programming for the public can occur.

- Responsible for providing operational oversight with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure facility operations are running smoothly and effectively
- Oversees delivery of assigned facility programs through the coordination, monitoring and evaluation process according to guidelines set out with the supervisor
- Develop and lead plans for the optimization and promotion of space at the facilities with internal and external partners
- Supports seasonal allocations at the facility with up to date partnership details and parameters.
- Provides facility support to both internal and external programs and services utilizing the spaces
- Ensures the space utilization data remains consistent and up to date in databases (i.e. Ebase and Intelli management) related to rentals, programs, group fitness, events, meetings, etc
- Responsible for leading and scheduling operational meetings (including OH&S Meetings and Facility Information Sharing Meetings)
- Responsible for the coordination of Emergency Preparedness Planning for the facilities, as well as being a key contact for emergencies at the facilities
- Responsible for ensuring SDMS data entry for facility Inspections and Safety meetings are entered
- Responsible for ongoing consultation and communication with key partners to establish program needs and priorities and ensure that these are met through the operations of the facilities
- Assess outreach opportunities in the community and explore the development of new programs with an emphasis on community recreation and culture
- Develop partnerships and good working relationships with school board partners nurturing positive working relationships and the capacity of facility partners
- Establish, manage and review formal agreements with external partners ensuring that expectations are clearly articulated
- Assist with financial review and reporting for each facility, with the ability to make financial recommendations
- Provide insight to assist the business planning with facility operations, including providing recommendations on operational hours, program delivery and partnership opportunities
- Provide regular reporting on facility trends, utilization (by both partners and public), issues, and incidents
- Assists with resolving customer inquiries and concerns
- Monitors and coordinates the procurement of facility specific supplies, as needed
- Supervision of facility volunteers if required
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- University degree program in Recreation, Education, or other relatable program
- Minimum of three (3) years directly related experience in leading recreational, cultural or related educational programs
- Highly developed and demonstrable verbal and written communication skills, administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, team, and customer service skills
- Strong conflict management, problem solving and consensus building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to optimize use of resources and provide a variety of programs
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as in a team environment where work responsibilities depend on team cooperation/collaboration
- Proven ability to quickly adapt and work within a fast-paced environment as well as manage several priorities at any given time.
- Research and problem solving skills to gather required information, make decisions and develop recommendations
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent). Must obtain business auto insurance for personal vehicle use on City business
- Hire is dependent upon a Criminal Record Check satisfactory to the City of Edmonton
