**OVERVIEW**

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the StoreForce business, by maintaining end-to-end internal IT infrastructure.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

**1.** **Internal Infrastructure Administration**
- Maintain records relating to asset management including computer equipment and software licenses; ensure proper upkeep of license counts.

**2.** **Security and Data Protection**
- Represent Internal Infrastructure as part of a cross department Security Team, including our security partner, to maintain and strengthen the StoreForce Security Posture.
- Configure, monitor and ensure compliance with data, software and hardware security policies and procedures, in accordance with global standards of certification and attestation (SOC2, GDPR, ISO).
- Maintain existing backup process and provide periodic maintenance as required.
- Create and maintain knowledge base for software, hardware, and network administration.
- Stay current with security threats and best practices and recommend enhancements to existing infrastructure to mitigate threats as required.
- Administer domain controller policies to maintain workstations and laptops so that they comply with industry standards (PCI, PII).
- Plan and execute activities such as installation of server patches, workstation patches, periodic password resets to comply with industry security standards.
- Participate in review, update and test company disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan.

**3.** **End User Support**
- Provide problem solving and support services to internal users (local and remote).
- Create and maintain knowledge base for trouble-shooting common problems.

**4.** **Ad-hoc Projects**
- At the direction of management, research software and hardware options to enhance the existing infrastructure or meet new business needs and present findings.
- Assist in road-mapping the future infrastructure requirements and options.
- Work with technology vendors to purchase equipment and software to support the business needs as required.

**EXPERIENCE**
- University Degree/College Diploma in IT or related field
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in Windows environments, routers, switches, VPN’s and firewall setup, configuration and management
- Demonstrated experience in managing small to medium network of servers, desktops, laptops, and tablets
- Demonstrated working experience in managing domain controllers, Active directory (on-premises and Azure AD), Microsoft exchange server (Exchange online or Office 365)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of network firewalls (Cisco, PaloAlto, Meraki and SonicWall), Network Monitoring tools and secure software including antivirus, malware and spam protection software
- Demonstrated working knowledge of virtualization (VMware)

**KNOWLEDGE**
- ESET and Microsoft Endpoint Protection
- VOIP phone systems (AVAYA, Nortel)
- MS Windows Server 2008 or higher
- MS Windows 7 or higher
- MS Office (2016 and 365), Exchange Server, G-Suite
- Firewall management (Cisco ASA 55xx, PaloAlto, Meraki, SonicWall)
- VPNs (Cisco VPN Client and AnyConnect, Juniper, SonicWall, FortiClient, Citrix)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator an asset
- Cisco Certified Network Associate an asset

**Assets / Nice to have**
- Demonstrated knowledge of web security, authentication protocols, DNS setup
- Demonstrated knowledge of network configuration for failover, reliability and scalability with current technologies
- Currently pursuing Azure solutions certification
- Previous experience in working with 3rd Party Security Providers.
