**IT Systems Administrator**
PBNJ Consulting Inc. was founded in 2001 and currently supports the IT systems of various organizations in the GTA and across Canada. We are a customer service first IT company, where people skills are as important as technical skills, an environment perfectly suited for driven and self-motivated individuals. We are currently in need of a technician that will work regularly with clients, supporting their day to day technology requirements, a mix of on-site and remote work. Much of the work is cloud related but the position still requires support of on-premise infrastructure and user endpoints, this is not a server room only position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on and resolve escalated Helpdesk Tickets
- Delight our Clients with a Friendly, Quick and Helpful Experience
- Provide the Client with advanced on-site or remote troubleshooting
- Managing and recording all work performed though our Ticketing System
- Make sure that Client Documentation and Inventory is well maintained
- Ensure tickets aren’t “stale” throughout the process

**Tasks**:

- Deploy, manage, and maintain:

- Windows Servers and Endpoints
- Backup Systems and Disaster Recovery
- Network devices - including switches, firewalls, access points (CISCO/Meraki, SonicWALL)
- Monitor Security Services, such as EDR/Anti-Virus, AntiSPAM, etc.
- Regularly review and optimize tasks and processes
- Install, configure and maintain mobile devices - Android, iPhone
- Work with vendors to acquire quotes and procure hardware/software for clients
- Project work; assist with deployments and migrations of hardware and software

- Microsoft 365 - Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD
- Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, Hyper-V, ESXi, VMware
- Scripting, Automating (PowerShell)
- Windows 10/11 and some MacOS
- Microsoft Office Suites
- Hardware fundamentals
- Administering Active Directory and Group Policies
- AntiVirus, AntiSPAM and AntiMalware Applications
- Cloud-based storage solutions
- Backup Systems (local and offsite)
- Firewalls, VPNS and Networking, VLANs
- Web Hosting (monitor, maintain and backup)
- Mobile Devices iOS/Android

**Qualifications**:

- College/CEGEP/Vocational or Technical training
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
- Microsoft certification is a plus

**Other requirements**:

- Some after-hour work will be required, though this is often scheduled in advance
- Having a car is highly preferential, must be mobile throughout the GTA

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
