I am the owner of Then & Now Restaurant. A bit about myself; I have worked left and right for 12+ years in the industry with both kitchen and service experience. I am proud to finally have my own little kingdom and hopefully with your help, we can accomplish wonders in the years to come

Then & Now Restaurant will be a non-tipping establishment, where all full-time team members will be paid with a salary+benefit+commission I truly believe that this is the future of restaurants and I cannot wait to put it in action I only want people who value hospitality work, and see themselves doing this as a true fulfilling career.

The concept will be an elevated seafood focused menu, with a friendly and professional service (no script). There will be also a good amount of vegan and non-alcoholic offerings as well.

**Job description**:
As a manager, you are essentially my "mini-me" if you will. I expect excellence in composure, grit, hospitality, empathy, and overall just better than me in areas in which I lack. we must complement each other. If I were to hire another me, oh my dear, that would not be a good work place evironment, believe it

You will not only be a face of the business, but also the standard which the rest of the team will look up to.

Other than daily operations, management, scheduling, cost control, and help creating the beverage list, you will also be in charge of various other side duties to further our sales and brand name. You are also expected to serve and bartend once/twice a week.

**Hours of Work & Compensation**:
Now, yes I do need a manager to work 50 hours per week with 2x 12hour doubles, however, because of that, you will be getting the following:

- Saturdays - 11am to 7pm shifts (night off)
- Sundays and Mondays off
- Fixed schedule
- Extended health benefits
- Shared 2.25% commission with all full-time team members, paid monthly
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- Of course, you get nicely fed at work, just like everyone else

The Saturday nights off, followed by Sundays and Mondays off, should be more than enough to make you happy and have a great work/life balance

The only thing I'd have to say that's a bit negetive, is that I unfortunately won't be able to sponsor anyone from abroad. So if you do in fact live in another country currently, please take the chance and move to Toronto first (it's a great city), and then we can potentially see if you'd be a good fit

**Salary**: $57,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
