**Work Arrangement**:This role is primarily based in the office environment, with occasional travel required to meet operational needs.

**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager, Inflight Training the Inflight Training Development Specialist develops new and revised cabin safety training programs and supports all Inflight Instructors with program related issues/questions.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The duties of the Inflight Training Development Specialist include:

- Liaising with Inflight Standards and Training Management to stay abreast of cabin safety regulatory requirements
- Assisting the Manager, Inflight Instructional Design with managing all aspects of Flight Attendant e-Learning through the Pelesys Training Management System (TMS) using the Learning Management System (LMS), Exam Generation System (EGS) and Electronic Training Records (ETR) modules
- Conducting needs assessments to determine training needs, as required
- Developing new regulatory training programs/amendments, according to the TP12296 and related CARs/CASS/Advisory Circulars
- Maintaining training program regulatory cross-referencing
- Working closely with the Document Standards Coordinator to enable training program creation/amendments using the document control process
- Actioning Transport Canada reviews to training program submissions and make required program amendments
- Assisting the Manager, Inflight Instructional Design create, document, and maintain key training design processes
- Assisting the Manager, Inflight Instructional Design create and facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions for program handover to the Training Delivery team
- When required, assisting with the facilitation of Inflight training programs

**Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities and Responsibilities**:

- Report proactive and reactive safety issues
- Demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety and actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) program
- Conduct assigned tasks and corrective actions
- Encourage active participation in the SMS for all personnel

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Training in flight attendant standards and instructional techniques.
- Diploma/certificate - Curriculum Development and Instructional Design considered a strong asset.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of three (3) years experience in developing training programs and leading teams
- Current or former experience as a Flight Attendant in a multi-crew aircraft (B737 experience preferred)
- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong facilitation skills
- Advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat Pro, Articulate 360, Smartsheet, MS Office
- ** Competencies**:
