About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technical training programs for our teams, ensuring alignment and leveraging of common programs and strategies across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for teams, leveraging expert-level knowledge of standard software and a broad understanding of Learning and Development activities.
  • Assure alignment and leveraging of common programs and strategies across the business, prioritizing and communicating this to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers, managers, trainers, and subject matter experts to define performance requirements and standards, assess current performance, and identify training and development needs.
  • Update and maintain training documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate employee training programs, utilizing strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of Organizational Change Management.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a related role with proficient technical training, process improvement, change management, and innovation experience.
  • Experience writing and formatting course material and providing adult education with strong knowledge of Organizational Change Management.
  • In-depth experience in delivering learning sessions in various formats, including group classroom delivery, one-on-one coaching, practice sessions, product demonstrations, roll-out workshops, and synchronous virtual delivery/facilitation.
  • Proven working ability to update and maintain training documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills in assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating employee training programs.
  • Solid experience in collaborating with customers, managers, trainers, and subject matter experts to define performance requirements and standards, assess current performance, and identify training and development needs.
  • Capability to effectively work independently as well as in a team-oriented, highly collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with solid skills in verbal and written communication.
  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing and competing priorities.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • Working experience within the legal industry is a definite asset.
