**Job Description**:
Under the general guidance of the Manager, OCM, the Change Management Specialist leads the development of organizational change management strategies, plans, and analysis to ensure successful adoption of improved processes and supporting suite of new solutions. This role specifically supports change and adoption activities within individual projects. The Change Management Specialist is responsible for identifying impacts to process, policy, data, technology, and people changes and lead transformation activities required to facilitate transition from current state to future state. The Change Management Specialist is an integral member of the team and has a strategic perspective and a broad-based understanding of business operations in supporting the impacted stakeholders in understanding and adapting to new processes and solutions.

Qualifications Required:
Education & Experience:

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in organizational change management, process improvement, organization development, communications, or a related field
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Bachelor’s degree in commerce, HR, technology, communications, organizational management, or related field; Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
- Change management experience in Workday (or cloud-based ERP) implementations preferred.
- Experience in an ERP implementation project or software implementation projects in a change management specialist role is preferred.
- Solid understanding of change processes and their impacts on both individuals and organizations
- Knowledge of organizational change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Comfort and experience interacting with and influencing senior executives.
- Strong knowledge of business process mapping and improvement/optimization. Knowledge of BPMN.
- Experience facilitating diverse groups to achieve an appropriate outcome.
- Solid understanding of key trends and players in the IT industry.
- Higher-education or public sector experience is an asset.
- Proven knowledge and continuous learning of organizational change management discipline and best practices and demonstrated contributions to practice improvement.
