To that end, we are looking for a Safety Specialist. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Health and Safety within Operational Excellence, this role will be a key contributor to building our Health and Safety, Security and Emergency Management programming. We are looking for a well-rounded safety expert who is excited at the prospect of challenging the status quo to creat e an industry leading practice that delivers bottom line results. A self-starter who remains calm under pressure, uncertainty, and change. Capable of rolling up your sleeves to support diverse team of experts across our business. Eager to expand your expertise and work on projects that span the globe.

**Responsibilities**:
Supporting the day-to-day operational programs under Operational Excellence such as Health and Safety, Security and Emergency Management to meet customer standards and or regulatory requirements. This includes leading processes to set standards, measure KPIs and assure to standards
Leveraging innovative technology solutions to effectively manage operational programs to provide transparency in performance across the businesses. Administration of digital safety platforms, inclusive of database management, workflow audit, update of HS policies, guidelines, assessments etc.
Quarterly and annual reporting requirements/audits and communications including incident investigation and reporting and analysis, workplace assessment reviews, workflow audits, ESG inputs into health and wellness and near miss program
Program delivery of continuous improvement initiatives such as reducing work process risks, improving safe work practices, safety awareness etc.
Providing site (property operations) support for Health and Safety, Security and Emergency Management programs
Leading research into Health and Safety trends across real estate industry and bring new ideas to the business
Reporting for workplace injuries, security and emergency management trends, JHSC gap analysis
Actively engaging business leaders and site teams on operational programs, performance and action plans to build a culture of continuous improvement

**Qualifications**:
Experience in Health and Safety, Security, Emergency Management and or Property Operations in the real estate industry
Experience managing operational programs at the corporate programs level such as safety and security to support Asset and Property Operations
Exceptional ability to develop positive relationships, communicate and lead through influence with internal partners across geographies, build consensus and prioritize action and results
A track record of lateral thinking, curiosity and looking at challenges through multiple lenses
Strong analytical and data-driven thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations and synthesize relevant information such as cost to service across the service catalogue
Experience administering digital safety and security platforms
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure to meet deadlines
