**Job Title:** Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at RMG Consulting Group Inc. As an EHSS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, clients, and the general public.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires on-site work. You will be working closely with employers, employees, and other stakeholders to provide training, conduct workplace inspections, investigate accidents, and develop health and safety plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and illnesses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans, policies, and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and that all necessary documentation is maintained.
  • Participate in safety audits and programs to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
  • Plan and deliver safety training programs to employees and clients.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
