Role & Responsibilities:
\tCoordinate the scope definition and prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
\tWork closely with the Section Head Program Management Infrastructure Projects in the preparation and maintenance of baseline and working project schedules, and control of schedule changes
\tAnalyze the schedule performance of the assigned Infrastructure Projects, determine variances, monitor trends, recommend improvements, take corrective actions and implement changes
\tWork closely with the assigned Infrastructure Projects Costs team in order to obtain actual cost expenditure information and measure project progress performance using Earned Value Analysis
\tCoordinate and control changes to scope and cost and ensure related approval and configuration management documentation is in place before baselines are adjusted
\tCoordinate the production and maintenance of risk registers
\tPerform schedule, cost and/or risk analysis when required
\tCoordinate the resource and cost loading of schedules
\tSupport Project team in the planning and control framework, including definition of the hierarchies, coding and account structures required for tracking, analysis, and performance measurement
\tVerify the legitimacy of changes, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
\tSupport Project Costs team in the cost estimating and budgeting processes when required
\tPreparing sections of the project progress report
\tChair/participate in project review meetings and make presentations of project information
\tArrange meetings
\tPrepare Monthly Project Report (MPR), and review with Project Director and Project Manager and present where necessary
\tPrepare and submit project accruals
\tInitiate i-Requisitions, prepare supporting documents (Briefing note, PR check list), follow-up the approval process
\tEnsure project documents are filed in atom/document control (as required)
\tEnsure actual to P6 monthly
\tEnsure project documents are available in supporting databases (SharePoint, Collaborative Portal)
\tHelp ensure project APWB milestones and deliverables are met
\tAmend Purchase Orders when required
\tWork with contractors

& consultants on construction schedule and incorporate contractor schedule into the master P6 schedule
\tConduct Critical Path analyses with project team and provide corrective actions or solution for deviation
\tReceive progress update from contractor and project team and update P6 master schedule and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:
\tUniversity degree or college diploma in a relevant field from an accredited school and a minimum of 4-6 years of progressively more responsible work experience in Project Management
\tDesignation as Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable
\tFormal Project Management training would be an asset
\tAdvanced-intermediate level capability in the development of project schedules
\tProven ability to conduct variance analysis on schedule and cost performance
\tKnowledge of Earned Value Analysis
\tProject cost management experience
\tProject risk management experience and/or knowledge would be a strong asset
\tStrong awareness of safety
\tGood organizational and planning skills. Well-developed ability to assess requirements, set priorities, define action plans, and meet deadlines within a dynamic project environment
\tGood interpersonal skills. Able to form effective relationships within the project partners and stakeholder organizations and to use his/her network to accomplish goals, solve problems, and improve planning and control systems
\tGood oral and written communication capability. Able to clearly organize and articulate ideas in project plans and reports and in-group settings
\tExperience in delivering presentations and chairing meetings
\tAbility to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines under pressure and work effectively with others and carry out instructions accurately
\tAdaptive, able to respond to changing conditions quickly
\tHighly self-motivated with a positive attitude and motivated to achieve continued customer satisfaction
