The Manager, HSE Data Administration is accountable for the delivery of data management tools commensurate with the needs of the Composite System (CS) plant needs. This position works with HSE and Operations personnel to manage existing systems and develop new tools/programs that support the global operations which include, but are not limited to training via LMS, SharePoint systems, Velocity EHS, HSE resources and other data management tasks. The Manager is also responsible to provide easy/clear access to required HSE information.
**DUTIES**
- Manage HSE system delivery tools (e.g. Velocity, SharePoint, LMS, document management resources, etc.) and deploy efficient support that provide value to facility stakeholders (i.e. plant managers, HSE Coordinators, production managers, direct labor).
- Work with HSE to design and implement organization-wide tools to better manage HSE information including ESG tracking systems, permit compliance tools, HSE metrics, quarterly reports, HSE cost tracking, and other data management required by the business.
- Act as the sole point of contact for the management of Workers Compensation activities across Canada and the US. Further, manage the remote medical services currently in use in the US and Canada to monitor effectiveness, employee status and cost.
- Lead team to develop, trial and deliver training programs for all CPS staff for standards roll out, safety program initiatives, injury reduction programs, risk reduction efforts and corporate best practices. Act as the SME for LMS use and training management.
- Oversee and support where required the consolidation and maintenance of external customer registries. Identifies and advises management on relevant compliance and system requirements.
**SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Minimum High school education. However, bachelor’s degree will be preferred
- Certification in any of the following: HSE Data management systems, LMS administration, SharePoint, etc.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with HSE information management, workers compensation and HSE metrics preparation
- Priority of skills/experience desired: 1. SharePoint administration2. Awareness of basic HSE data management systems3. Workers compensation management (US and Canada) as well as claims management though company insurance providers4. Department cost tracking5. Data trending and analysis related to incidents, injuries, ESG tracking, etc.6. Responsible for distribution of key HSE information across the org., facilitate translations of key information,
- Occupational safety and health, chemical, environmental and HSEMS technical awareness.
- Experience with managing HSE data management systems, LMS systems, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to operate within all levels of the organization.
- Excellent computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, databases) and experienced in data analysis.
- Experience working with technical experts to build electronic training programs and managing training records.
