**Job Title**:Project Coordinator

**General Summary**: This role, reporting to the General Manager, is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of Sheridan Electric. The Project Coordinator is a critical part of ensuring we deliver on our mission to provide World Class Care to our customers by continuously delivering on our brand promises of excellence and trust.

**Essential Job Functions**:
***Project Coordination including:
- Support job setup including pulling permits, printing drawings and preparing project documentation (e.g. take offs) for foreman.
- Keep job folders updated and organized including change order logs
- Support close out documentation and job close out procedures including post mortem job documents, closing permits, and calling off any rental equipment
- Responding with urgency to customer requests for emergency service by dispatching the appropriate technician or electrician and notifying the customer.
- Work with Project Managers and General Manager to gather information and schedule field staff each week
- Keep the macro labor forecast updated and add jobs to the time schedule as they are opened
- Schedule and call off rent equipment as required for job sites and assign it in the MySheridan system.

**Education and Experience Required**:

- University Degree or College Diploma in construction management or project management
- Experience with Microsoft Project or other similar planning and scheduling software
- Experience working in a customer service or operations environment. (Experience working in a construction or related trades company would be considered an asset)
- Excellent English and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Knowledge, experience and aptitude for using computers and software including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other general software.
