Service Manager

At the Progressive Automotive Group, we are looking for a Service Manager/Advisor to join our team. The Service Manager/Advisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Service Department, as well as being an active Service Advisor. Our company is growing rapidly, and we require a highly motivated, and achievement-oriented team player that can grow with us and move the business forward.
**This opportunity is available immediately.**
**Job Duties**:
- Manage and coordinate the Service Department
- Accountable for the financial success of the Service Department
- Create and update work orders and finalize invoices
- Estimating and selling maintenance and repairs
- Manage inbound customer calls and make outbound customer calls
- Handle all customer concerns
- Manage all open work orders and follow up on outstanding warranty claims to keep receivables current.
- Keep current on all new technical bulletins and open recall campaigns.
- Proper record keeping and repair order storage.
- Other duties as required.
**What We Look For**:
- 3+ years of automotive dealership or Aftermarket experience as a Service Advisor or Manager.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work for technicians.
- Knowledge and /or experience with warranty policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (proficient in English).
- Related experience in automotive service management and or advisor would be considered an asset.
- Experience on Automotive Dealership DMS Software, PBS Systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and Mitchell would be preferable.
- Reliable and disciplined - able to follow through on assignments.
- Organized/able to prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated.
- Accuracy and detail oriented individual.
- Committed to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sarnia, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- service advisor: 3 years (preferred)
- Service Manager: 2 years (preferred)
- Automotive Dealership: 3 years (preferred)
