Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team.

**WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- Conducting fieldwork related to safety compliance inspections.
- Primary focus is on inspecting first aid kits, first aid rooms, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units to ensure compliance, supply, and the proper functioning to ensure an effective first aid response
- Writing compliance reports and providing support for various departmental activities as directed.
- Receive inspection assignments from the Operations Co-ordinator.
- Conduct effective and accurate inspections of first aid supplies and other first aid resources.
- Conduct effective and accurate inspections or installation of AED units and other resources.
- Assess equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s / regulatory standards or client Standard Operating Procedures, where available.
- Ensure equipment is good working order and readied to facilitate an effective first aid response.
- Prepare thorough written reports based on information gathered through field assessments. Provide appropriate conclusions & recommendations based on site assessment and interpretation of prevailing regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Administrative duties, including accurate and timely completion of timesheets/expenses & provision to the Operations Co-ordinator for project invoicing.
- Provide excellent customer service and develop ongoing relationship with transparent service delivery.
- Should be able generate new sales by various sales methodologies as per manager directions.

- **MUST* have Full G License and Clean Drivers Abstract**:

- **MUST* have Valid First Aid and CPR certificate**:

- **MUST** be able to obtain Reliability Security Clearance
- minimum 5 Years of Residency in Canada
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of safety management systems and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Excellent Deportment.
