**HOW WILL YOU HELP HUMAN RESOURCES THRIVE AT LAWRIE?**

You will play an important role in LIG’s day-to-day HR activities - as a resourceful team player, you’ll be the first point of contact to coordinate and support overall HR operations including but not limited to: fielding general HR questions, Training, Recruitment, Orientation, Payroll and Health and Safety. There will be excellent opportunities for collaboration and innovation through the development and implementation of new initiatives, programs, and practices to support building and developing our amazing teams so we can reach our business goals and objectives

**WHAT YOU NEED TO THRIVE AT LAWRIE**:
Your recent post-secondary education in Human Resources or related, coupled with your 1 - 2 years’ experience will showcase your foundational HR knowledge. If you are looking for the next step and future growth opportunities in your HR career, we want to hear from you Do you already have some experience with administration of benefits, pension and payroll? That’s exactly what we’re after If you have some exposure to employee engagement initiatives, reporting and new hire onboarding - then that’s a definite plus

You are a self-starter with good judgment, excellent service delivery skills, and a commitment to quality. A team-player that is happy to roll up your sleeves Desire to learn and grow, and a willingness to stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices. Strong writing and communications skills allow you to effectively collaborate with various internal and external partners. The ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, deal with multiple priorities and deadlines. Your thorough organizational and time management skills will ensure your success in achieving goals.
