**Location**: Orbitor
**Purpose**: Reporting to the Director of OHS Environment & Sustainability, the scope of this position involves ensuring companywide legal compliance to environmental regulations and the effective management of corporate environmental policies, procedures, and programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provided leadership in Environmental matters
- Assist in the upkeep of the Environmental compliance management system.
- Coordinate all Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) & Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR) for the sites.
- Coordinate all environmental affairs: Monitoring and Reporting (NPRI, ChemTRAC, Greenhouse Gas Emission Reporting, Chemical Management Plan (CMP), etc.),
- Coordinate / assist in Hazardous Materials Management, Waste Management (3Rs), and Sanitary & Storm Sewer Discharge
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external environmental audits, inspections & risk assessments.
- Coordinate / conduct any in-house training sessions on site (e.g. orientations, spills training, environmental hazard assessments, etc.).
- Coordinate and track all environmental training programs.
- Investigate and develop corrective actions for non-conformances (e.g., environmental spills, dangerous circumstances, etc.).
- Work with contractors / subcontractors in any environmental awareness and improvement practices by monitoring and inspecting sites to ensure environmental compliance.
- Maintain the health, safety & environmental bulletin boards.
- Frequent business travel up to 50% to other facilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Environmental University Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Environment position.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and related principles and practices.
- Experience in adult training considered an asset.
- Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Effective change management and influencing skills.
- Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to establish priorities and meet firm deadlines.
