**Some of what you will do**:
The Store/Space Planner is a critical role in the success of the overall merchandising space strategy. This position will partner with various departments from Category Management and Construction team to Inventory Planning and Store Operations to drive results through effective store merchandising layouts.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Work cross functionally to develop store merchandising flow plans that align to customer purchase patterns using Auto-Cad and related software.
- Partner with the planogram team to ensure product layouts are accurately assigned for each store location to match the store merchandise layout
- Leverage category space productivity metrics to optimize store space and sales productivity
- Plan and execute assortment reflows and merchandise flow changes by creating and updating store layouts and assigning matching planogram versions
- Support the creation of planograms as necessary.
- Analyze assortments and consumer/geographic demographics at a store and/or district level to ensure stores have the appropriate merchandise flow dedicated to each category for a particular market, customer preference, and store size to support sales optimization.
- Communicate and visit stores to gather feedback regarding difficulty with executing both merchandise flow and planogram changes to determine possible gaps in process or other relevant solutions to help stores deliver with excellence and minimize labour needs.
- Perform analysis and forward thinking on plans as we launch new stores or format changes, that areas that are working can be translated on smaller or different scales into other locations.
- Responsible for maintaining accuracy of store layouts on an ongoing basis.

**Some of what you need**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience with a large retailer.
- Intermediate PC skills within a MS Office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Store planning experience is required
- Knowledge and experience in Auto-Cad software
- Planogram software experience is an asset
- SQL experience an asset
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate cross functionally and at senior levels.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
