We are currently looking to expand and are accepting resumes from a Land Use Planner.
Qualifications include
- University Degree or Equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- RPP Designation is a Must.
Duties include
Review City Zoning By-Laws and other pertinent document prior to making submissions to the city
Write Planning Justification reports
Going to the city from time to time as required to discuss projects with city staff and also going to public meetings from time to time to make presentations, attend the committee of adjustments hearing, attend re-zoning hearing etc.
Assist in the development of architectural designs especially Urban Design.
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other technical documents and reports
Prepare manual and CAD (computer-assisted design) drawings, specifications, cost estimates and listings of quantities of material from conceptual drawings and instructions
Coordinate with Staff, Engineers, Consultants, Clients, Contractors and Authorities having Jurisdiction.

Pay: $37.50-$52.50 per hour
