Reporting to the Manager, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Operations the position is responsible for the general management and administration of Corporate technology infrastructure components and support of the Enterprise Technology Infrastructure
Manger, Network Security Manager and Network Administrator positions.

The Enterprise Technology Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for supporting corporate technologies to ensure continued operation and compatibility in addition to the expanding Cloud technology environment, and the requirements for integration, security, data privacy/ownership, underlying contractual requirements and must stay ahead of trends to ensure employees have the required tools to perform their duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the installation, support and maintenance of all critical infrastructure in the City’s systems such as wired and wireless networks, virtualized environment, servers and systems, cloud and hosted resources including

Microsoft 365
- Backup to the Network Administrator position and will be responsible for performing routine system administration tasks, user permissions, onboarding and off boarding, file and permission management and server and file backup including restoration
- Support implementation and deployment of new technologies, summarize deployment documentation, review implementation plan with stakeholders and maintain change log and disaster recovery documentation
- Backup Network Security Manager, provide basic Firewall and Security assistance, assist in triage, mitigation of Network Security issues, review and update Group Policy Objects, assist in the collection and preparation of investigative material, review logs and analyze events

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge and skills normally associated with a four (4) year University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in an advanced computer and information technology environment; Experience in enterprise-level architectures, network and systems administration; Experience in System administration including Virtualization technology: VMware ESX; Experience with VMWare administration, design, and implementation and manage VMWare environment. or have an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Exceptional understanding of operating systems access and security
- Experience in firewall administration
- Experience in supporting multi-site Internet Protocol (I.P.) routed networks
- Experience administering and configuring Virtual-Local Area Network (VLAN) based switching devices
- Experience in deployment and management of resources in Microsoft Azure
- Experience in management of user objects and rules in Microsoft 365
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and Domain Administration
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to deal effectively and tactfully with a broad range of senior management personnel, staff, external agencies and vendors. Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Proven administrative, reasoning, technical, analytical, research and problem solving skills
- Proven change management and documentation skills
- Possess initiative, self-reliance, and a keen sense of responsibility, dedication, decisiveness in the performance of all duties
- Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines. Responding to crisis and emergency situations
- Able to work and manage responsibilities in a high pace environment, adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and ongoing change
