Muggn’z Family Restaurants Ltd (since 1999) is looking for a **GENERAL MANAGER** to run the day to day operations of both a family restaurant with lounge. You understand what it takes to manage multiple tasks, oversee and guide staff, and maintain and build a loyal clientele. You also know how to utilize traditional media and social media to boost awareness and promote events and drive the restaurant's success.

- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Manager in the Hospitality Industry
- Exceptional Customer Service, communication, and people skills
- Excellent communication skills, both speaking and writing.
- Leadership traits that can manage an already experienced team.
- Focus on relationship building with the guests.
- External community presence promoting our restaurant to the local area
- WHMIS training preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- An eye for detail, reliable, punctual, efficient, and diligent in duties and responsibilities.
- Manage employees by building strong teamwork and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs
- Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is properly staffed for all shifts.
- Lead, manage and deliver an exceptional guest experience each shift dine-in, bar, take-out and delivery and guest recovery.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant.
- Shift management of controllable costs: Food, beverage, labour and QC prom line.
- Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and adhered to each and every shift.
- Measure and evaluate service standards by using various feedback tools to develop and implement plans for continuous service improvement.
- Inventory management
- Creativity around menu design, menu and drink offerings.

- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative.

- Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
- Ensure profitability of restaurant by achieving financial and performance goals.
- Supervise shift operations, including all employee and guest related functions.
- Motivate team to deliver top-notch service to ensure exceptional guest experience.
- Participate in training and guidance of employees.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash-outs and daily sales reporting.
- Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
- Clean, clean, clean policy.
- Responsible for cash management activities.
- Follow Proserve and company policies.
- Daily VLT closing procedures
- Build promotional strategy to enhance our business.
- Possess creativity and innovation.

**Schedule**:

- 8 hour shifts with variability.
- Day/Evening shifts
- Holidays
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
